Psychology Competition lessons learned

There are a number of things that I would change as a result of the Psychology competition.
1. We let all our students who were planning to go on to A2 run an experiment. Perhaps we should have then selected a few to compete for entry to the competition, rather than all of them. This would have left us more time to work on their presentation skills.
2. It may have been a good idea to invite more people to be in the audience. One of the schools brought their Psychology students to watch and it might have benefited the students to have more people watching.
3. On interviewing our students afterwards they all said that they had been glad they had done it. It has made a tremedous impact on what they can put on their UCAS and job applications
